HighschoolHires, Founder and CEO
Joey Bunag
Joey is a driven high school senior from Washington, D.C. He founded HighschoolHires from his own frustrations with finding internships, which was often a very expensive or time-consuming process. The rarity of internships for the economically disadvantaged, as many internships often require connections or money, further motivated him to take action. Since its launch in June, HighschoolHires has helped thousands of students secure quality employment opportunities, ranging from volunteering to research fellowships. As the Founder and CEO, Joey is proud to have partnered with hundreds of global organizations, federal agencies, and universities to provide students all around the world with equal and easy access to quality employment opportunities. Joey’s interests also include business and economics, which he explores through his blog, Average Joe’s Economics. As the Founder and Lead Content Creator, Joey aims to demystify life’s daily mysteries using economic concepts and laws, further educating others on the prevalence of economics in each of our daily lives. With deepened interests in business, entrepreneurship, and fostering community, Joey looks forward to partnering with Innobitious, where he believes their mission of inspiring the next generation aligns with his personal goals.

Shared goals from different perspectives, pursued collectively.
